IAS or the Civil Service examination as we know is the toughest examination that one can think of in India. It is the way for one of the most reputed jobs in India and therefore it requires immense hard work and skills to get through this. Coming to the syllabus, the IAS patterns involves several questions from Current Affairs, general knowledge and History. So it becomes very important to see that you learn everything before you sit for the examination.

Well, of course the choice of the optional subjects will determine the performance or the marks that you are going to get in the IAS preliminary or the IAS mains exams. There may be special qualification needed for the people a good way to appear the exam, besides that they must be graduates.

There are individuals who also select the optional papers based on the length of the answers and the topics that they cover. With the good choice for the combination of the optional subjects will not only help the candidate to achieve success. But it will also help the candidates to decrease the work load and increase the chances of scoring more in the Civil Service Examination.

You can bring down the notes from end to end; also get the pictures on the page, to enhance the learning process. This will help you to increase the knowledge of learning. Visual learners will definitely get benefitted by learning from writing things down. This will also help them to remember them better which in turn will help them to perform better.

However the IAS officials also look for the aptitude skills of the candidates for the subject that they choose, as they are willing to find a legit skill of specialized knowledge. When the individuals look to choose for the optional, it is always advice to start studying from the IAS mains syllabus than the IAS preliminary syllabus to have an edge; this will helps them to specialize themselves in certain scoring areas. The IAS preparation does include syllabus form physics, mathematics, aptitude skills, history and current affairs and so on.
