In the previous post, I talked about this crazy feeling you get when things are open out of balance and we are pressed for time, having too much to do and everything moves at an incredible pace and perhaps felt a little more balance, a little out of control.
It happens to all of us. Life is busy, the job fails, family life is demanding. Yes, all these things are too rewarding and we feel blessed to have all these things and just as confused and overwhelmed having to manage them all. Not always - but there are times ...
One thing I like to do to keep perspective is to grace. Take something - anything and be grateful for it. Thankful for my health at the time, or the love of my life, or my ability to work and be productive.
Then Drill Down: the good thing about any of these things? Why am I thankful? What would life be without this thing that overwhelms me right now? What I really want? Why am I doing something given?
We must realize that we are always at choice. If we are too busy, we can choose to be less busy. I know people bristle at the idea (which I also sometimes) And beginning with: You do not understand! I need, I need, I can not ... etc.. Yes, it's true and you should ask everyone to "How do I use?
Sometimes being busy is the way to feel important and needed. Sometimes it's a way to go fast and not to think that we are deeply unhappy or dissatisfied. Sometimes we try to meet the expectations of the other person to do or be what they want to be.
All or part of this is acceptable - if we know that we serve and we elect. And if that is not serving you, what can you do about it? How can you change? If you do not want to change, then you can take what you want and settle there and be that person, but enjoy?
I know this may seem like a strange concept, but it is an option and it is for us to become aware of what you choose and how it makes us feel and how it is the quality of our lives.
