With health as a big trend nowadays because of the alarming growing number of diseases that the world has today, the people are now slowly trying to go back to the basics of good health. One very interesting book that would explain the scientific governance of the body would be the book known as Ministry of Healing by Ellen G. White. If one is interested in knowing more about health, then this book will be a good read.

Now just to give one an idea about the author, she is actually a founded of the Seventh Day Church. This is an Adventist sect that is known to put a lot of importance in a healthy lifestyle because they believe that the body that God lent to humans should be taken care of. They believe that spiritual health is also linked to physical health which is why they believe that the body should be really taken care of.

Now in the first part of this book, miss White first mentions about the ministry of God and how he created men to be able to be one with nature. When one would say nature, he would mean that God made sure that everything created on the earth would take care of the bodies of men. She would then to establish the connection between spiritual health and physical health.

Now with nature as the theme of health, everything that is outside of it may cause some irregularities. In the fast pace world for instances, stress has become a very big factor in the spread of sicknesses and special conditions these days. The book will be able to advise the readers on how exactly to prevent bad stress from coming in and killing the body slowly.

Of course it is always better to prevent a sickness than to cure it which is why the book puts heavy emphasis on diet. The diet is one thing that most people would take for granted because in general are in love with yummy food that may also be bad for the health. This book will teach the readers how to make a diet plan and outweigh the bad food with healthy food.

Of course one cannot prevent all kinds of sicknesses as one will definitely get sick a few times in his life. When this would happen, at least he now has the book to guide him with this. There are a lot of natural cures that would work for a lot of conditions. The book would state how much the body should take to fight illnesses

Other aspects of health like sleep and exercise are also mentioned here too. Exercise and sleeping habits go along with the diet because these activities would help the body take in nutrients faster. This book will also give some tips on these as well so that one will have an overall holistic lifestyle change.

Now what this book actually advocates would actually be a lifestyle shift. It is important for one to have a healthy lifestyle if he would want to still be strong during old age. This book will definitely be able to help.
