Spend Time Together To Discuss True Love Tests

By Daphne Bowen

No one wants to feel as if they are constantly jumping through hoops having to prove their commitment to a relationship. Many partners put their significant other through various true love tests to make sure the person is serious about them. However, not everyone can stand the game playing and want out of the relationship.

So, what do you do if you want the relationship without the game playing? You have to talk to your partner and find out what is going on with them. There is a reason that they do not trust you. You also have to look at yourself and see if you are doing something that warrants them not trusting you.

The biggest problems that relationships have is a lack of communication. One way to solve that problem is to set aside time each week to spend together. It is called spending quality time to talk and discuss issues that you might be having with each other.

You then have to figure out what you can do to make the person feel more comfortable with you. The person is looking for confirmation that you want them and no one else. So, it will be up to you to figure out what you can do.

It is important then to take a step back and figure out exactly what they need. To do this sometimes people just need a little extra help from others around them. It does not matter the age or whether the person is a man or woman, putting people through complicated tests can come from just about anyone.

There have been many counselors, or therapists who have helped save a marriage. Some people put their significant other through tests because they do not know what it feels like to be loved by someone else. It could derive from a troubled past, or someone who has hurt them long before being with you.

Most importantly let your significant other express their feelings to you. Make sure you are listening with an open ear and an open heart. Understand that they are afraid of losing you, or you not wanting them. It is not that they just want to make your life miserable. However, you have to let them know that is exactly what they are doing. Let them know that you are not going to put up with it, and that it could cost the relationship.

It might also be necessary to seek professional help for the relationship if no one seems to be listening. Therapists, or counselors are great when it comes to needing someone to hear both sides out. The therapists will not be judgmental and they do not take sides. They just make easy for both parties to be heard without the other interrupting or walking away. Some people like to start with therapists because they know that they will never be able to get through to their significant other on their own.
